That’s tear as in cry. Courtney (a.k.a. C Jane) has been pulling at my heartstrings all week. She has been writing the most lovely posts on her blog (Some about her sister in the plane crash, some about her family). If you have never visited her blog, or you haven’t been over there in a while–do yourself a favor and mosey on over.
She’s a wonderful person and such a talent. I’ve been working with some other girls (I know, we’re too old to be girls, but I don’t like the term “ladies”–sounds too frumpy. And “women” sounds too mature; like a Relief Society President or someone who makes quilts) to compile a book of C Jane’s blogging over the last couple of years. I think it will be primarily a fund-raiser. I’ll let you know when it’s finished (in the next couple of weeks, I think). She’s a stellar writer. I got done editing my sections and all I could think was, “I will never in a thousand years be this good.”
Also, you should BUY (not borrow) a copy of The Mother in Me. It is a collection of essays written by my friends at Segullah. It is a fantastic, beautiful book about mothering (mostly pregnancy and young children.) Both would make superb Christmas Gifts! You can get it at Amazon or Deseret Book.
I’ve been tearing up and enjoying C all week as well. Especially the post about falling in love with our boys and being their first true love.
What a blessing she is to the rest
of us.
What a beautiful blog! (Yours. On my way to your friend’s now.)
I have been deeply touched by her words. Thank you for introducing me to her and her family.
I think I’m in love with Stephanie AND Christian. Our Mister’s would never understand.
